Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Brewer Home Team ("Brewer Home Team," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit or use our websites, including brewerhometeam.com, goodoptionsrealestate.com, sellstaymove.com, helptosellandmove.com, goodoptionshomebuyers.com and cashoutandstayput.com, and when you fill out our forms, take our quizzes, or communicate with us by phone, text or email (together, the "Sites").

Brewer Home Team is a real estate team of Keller Williams North Atlanta. This policy does not cover Keller Williams Realty, LLC or its websites and apps, including our property search, which has its own privacy practices described in the Keller Williams Privacy Policy. It also does not cover other third-party sites we link to.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, take a quiz or contact us, you may give us your first and last name, email address, phone number, current city, desired city, your situation (for example, moving up, selling or relocating), your timeframe, and any message you write. If you choose to include a property address or other details in your message, we collect that too. If you take the Sell, Stay or Move Up quiz, we also keep your answers’ overall result so we can talk with you about it.

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Sites, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the links you click, the date and time of your visit, and the website that sent you to us. We may also infer your approximate location (such as your city) from your IP address.

Information from other sources. We may receive information from Keller Williams tools we use to run our business, from other real estate professionals or referral partners who introduce you to us, and from public sources.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to your requests and contact you about the real estate questions you asked us about;
  • provide, personalize and improve the Sites, forms and quizzes;
  • send you information, guides, market updates and marketing messages (you can opt out at any time);
  • understand how people use the Sites and measure whether our marketing works;
  • protect the Sites, our business and our clients, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse;
  • keep records and follow the law and real estate rules; and
  • prepare summaries or statistics that do not identify you.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Our team and brokerage. With the members of Brewer Home Team and with Keller Williams North Atlanta, our brokerage, so we can help you.
  • Service providers. With companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, text messaging, customer management, analytics and advertising providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Other professionals, with your OK. If you ask us for help from a lender, other real estate agent, inspector or similar professional, or agree that we may introduce you, we may share the information needed to make that introduction. Those professionals have their own privacy practices.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When we believe the law requires it, to respond to legal requests, or to protect the rights, property or safety of you, us or others.
  • Business changes. If our business or team is sold, merged or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that change.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The Sites may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file stored on your device, and a pixel is a small piece of code on a page. We use them to keep the Sites working, to understand how the Sites are used, and to measure and improve our advertising. Tools we use or may use include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel.

Advertising tools can recognize you across different sites and help show you our ads elsewhere. Under some state laws this may be called "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising." You can limit it by changing your browser settings, using privacy tools, opting out through the Network Advertising Initiative, adjusting your ad settings with Google and Meta, or using Google’s analytics opt-out add-on. You can also contact us.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. The Sites do not currently respond to them.

5. Phone calls and text messages

By giving us your phone number on a form, you agree that Brewer Home Team may contact you about your request, and about related real estate services, by phone and text message, including by using automated technology. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the number is yours or you are authorized to give it. Your consent is not required to buy or sell any property or service.

We do not make marketing calls to numbers on the national or state Do Not Call lists unless you have given us your consent or the law otherwise permits. Calls may be monitored or recorded as the law allows. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. You can also withdraw your consent for calls and texts by calling 678-820-9098 or emailing info@brewerhometeam.com. Please allow a reasonable time for us to process your request. Replying STOP to us does not stop messages from other companies, including Keller Williams and other agents.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email or by contacting us. We may still send you messages about a transaction or service you asked for.

Privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or limit or stop certain uses of it, including sharing for targeted advertising. We will not treat you unfairly for using these rights.

To make a request, call us at 678-820-9098 or email info@brewerhometeam.com with your name and contact information, and tell us what you are asking for. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If you disagree with our response, you may ask us to review it. These requests cover only information held by Brewer Home Team and our service providers.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to do the things described in this policy and as the law allows or requires. How long depends on things such as whether you are an active client or contact, the type of information, our legal and record-keeping duties, and our need to resolve disputes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove identifying details.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect information. No website, email or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a concern about the security of the Sites, please contact us.

9. Third-party websites and services

The Sites link to and use services from other companies, such as Keller Williams, Google (including Google reviews) and Meta. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Please read their policies before giving them information.

10. Sensitive information

Please do not send us sensitive information through the Sites or by email unless we specifically ask for it. Examples include Social Security numbers, bank or credit card numbers, passwords, health information, and information about your race or ethnicity, religion, political views, biometrics, genetics or criminal history. If we need that kind of information for a real estate transaction, we will tell you the safest way to send it.

11. Children

The Sites are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where information is stored

We operate in the United States, and information we collect is stored and processed in the United States by us and our service providers. If you use the Sites from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on the Sites and change the effective date above. Please review it periodically. Your continued use of the Sites after a change means you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Sites.
